iSTAKA, a sanskrit word for a ceremonial brick, is a multi disciplinary design firm based out of Bangalore, available Nationwide.
It is primarily influenced by ethnic, vernacular and contemporary design.
Our theory is enveloped in strong zoning principles that ensures clear circulation, maximum natural light to the spaces, and giving the space an open look.
We experiment with local materials , colours and finishes ,creating ambient spaces, giving it a different look and character.
We believe in order to achieve this we must take a 360 degree approach to practice that involves everything from design, execution, selections, vendor management and site supervision.

Istaka was founded by Ar. Mehak Kapoor in 2014, who has an experience of over 11 years in the design industry. Mehak, completed her architecture course in 2013 from Pune University, and holds a B.Arch + ID (interior design) degree that enables her to showcase a wide array of knowledge.
